Buck Lake Group Campground

We have been coming year after year for a group trip and love it! If you do not mind primitive camping it is awesome! It does have a outhouse type of bathroom with NO running water. The grounds are beautiful with a big lake great for kayaking and a nice mile and a half trail going around the lake. Do be careful, we did see a small gator in the lake! Not a surprise for Florida. It has a very large fire ring to fit a large group. Also has a few grills and water pump. Maximum capacity for this place is 50 people. We bring our tiny camper. It was great having a private camp site that holds up to 50 people. Lake front and caught some catfish. I may suggest to bring your own portable toilet since the closest bathroom was a good few min walk. The only downfall was the hunting dogs that took a diarrhea all over our camp site... the dogs must've crossed over from another section of the forest.

Off the beaten path w/a lake and I believe roughly $175 for entire weekend. I did hear people running dogs(hunting)on other side of lake and lots of rabbits like to wonder into your campsite

I love this campground. Only downfall is there are no bathrooms, just an outhouse. But overall I love going here. It's peaceful and the lake is beautiful to wake up to.

Beautiful and clean mostly quiet can hear hunting dogs far off in the distance.
