Brunswick Beaches Campground

This is a quiet, peaceful, clean campground perfect for relaxing and enjoying some fresh air and sunshine. The staff is very friendly, and the grounds are maintained well. We stayed in a cabin which was also maintained well and clean. Don’t forget to bring your own linens, though. We forgot and had to make a run to the local store, but that wasn’t a problem because there are many to choose from within a short distance.

Most of these reviews are a few years old so I figured it’s time for an update. My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights in mid May. The campground is nice and well kept. The lady that checked us in was very nice, but we didn’t have encounters with staff after that. It rained every day so we only got to the beach once. It took about 9 minutes to get to Sunset Beach. The restrooms were very clean. We had a shady lot, but not all lots have shade. When it rained a lot, there were puddles on the roads and some sites but they drained fairly quickly. The pool is a nice benefit, especially for families with kids. It’s very convenient to OIB, Sunset and Calabash. Lots of green space, although the dog park is a little small. Have stayed here 7 years straight the same week with no issues. This year my husband had to be admitted to the hospital the day before our reservation. We will not be getting any refund at all. The problem is cancellation states forfeit of deposit and I understand that, but you don't have a way to pay "deposit" must pay in full. Definition of deposit is partial payment. This is the only place that I have ever stayed that you have to pay in full and even with medical emergency or for whatever reason you need to cancel you DO NOT RECEIVE ANY REFUND. Sorry I didn't get my husband to get sick sooner. This is not a way to treat guest.

Our camping group recently stayed at Brunswick Beach Campground, the campground is fantastic! The grounds were clean and garbage was picked up every morning. The staff, especially Jackie were wonderful to our group and she went out of her way to make sure we had an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this campground to anyone. There was a pool, a playground, a dog park, clean bathrooms and showers. We would definitely return here.

This is out go to place every year! Its about 2.5 miles from the beach. The staff is very friendly, and the cabins are very clean. The pool is so fun, and fishing in the pond is too! The kids absolutely love it too! We have been going here for years. It is the best campground around! Highly recommended!
