Breakers Hotel & Suites

We went to just get away for the weekend. It was great being so close to the beach and all the stores, all walking distance. Clean room's very quiet. The boys went swimming in the indoor pool in November. They loved that! Breakfast was good. Hardboiled eggs, muffins, cereal, bagles, oatmeal, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, water, juice, yogurt. This was good to hold us over till lunch. Definitely will go back.

We were checked in by Kathi and were warmly welcomed   The room was clean and comfortable such a gem.

Not great. Not awful. I wouldn't stay again. Room was freezing when we checked in. Like, thermostat reading lowest possible reading, but couldn't take off coat for a while. TV channel service was spotty. Heat was loud. Breakfast was just pre-packaged items like instant oatmeal. Out of date decor. Close to shops and restaurants. Very little noise from other areas, but that could be due to off season. Pool appeared clean, but very small.

We just vacationed at the Breakers before Labor day. The hotel was very welcoming, even though we arrived by 11 am. Rooms weren't ready, of course, but we were able to change into swimsuits in a changing room (we parked at the electric chargers in the next door convention center parking lot). We enjoyed the beach and received a call when our room was ready. We appreciated being put into room 402, which had a bedroom and sitting area, allowing us to chill separately if we wanted to. While other rooms looked more like ordinary hotel rooms, housekeeping kept the rooms squeaky clean. The staff at the front desk were uniformly wonderful, and the staff manning the transport to the beach were also very friendly. First off the staff were the best part of this hotel. Exceptional service and hotel was clean. Parking was free and they have a parking garage. All rooms have balconies and hotel is within easy walking distance to beach. It is an older hotel with no bells and whistles. Breakfast was the equivalent of getting something packaged from your local gas station. The only complaint I have is price gouging This property is clearly a $125 per night hotel. NOT $400. I can stay at cove haven for less and have a pool and hot tub in my room. I’ve paid $400 for the Cosmo in Vegas. This hotel has no view, no amenities, and is very outdated. Again, everything was ‘fine’ $400 per night for ‘fine’ feels like a rip off. I understand it’s what the market will bear and they need to make it in the summer but th
