Bottlehouse Cabins

We stayed in The Birdhouse Cabin. We had the most beautiful mountain view as we sat nestled high on a hill overlooking trees and sloped areas below. The cabin had at least 6' hollyhocks growing along the entire length of the front porch, which added so much splendor to our view. Hummingbirds were everywhere, another delightful, enriching experience. The cabin itself is quite lovely with newish rustic woodsy decor, very quaint and comfortable indeed. The interior isn't what I would call roomy, space is indeed crowded for luggage and any extras, however it is probably not assumed one is staying in a cabin for a luxury vacation but to enjoy the outdoors. However, with two bedrooms at opposite ends of the cabin, and two more loft beds, it's VERY nice. Only one bathroom though, so a large famil

We LOVED our weekend getaway at the Hideout Cabin! We loved how spaced out and remote the cabins were compared to the others in the area, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The cabin was perfect! Cozy and homey, and the fully equipped kitchen was wonderful to be able to hole-up for the weekend. The electric fireplaces came in handy, the bed was comfy, and the deck had great views! We loved how dog friendly the cabins (and staff!) were. Our dogs had just as much fun as we did! Great walking trails into the woods right behind the property too. ||We will definitely stay here again! The driveway up into the hill was a bit of an adventure though!

We stayed at the Bottle House Cabins in October 2014 and had a wonderful time. Our cabin was small but efficient with all your basic needs attended to including coffee/creamer/sugar for the morning. Space was tight, so I would not suggest maximum occupancy to these cabins as it would be very close quarters! It was wonderful that they allowed dogs and the "Charlie" cabin was perfect as it had a beautiful enclosed deck out front where both human and canines could hang out and enjoy the fresh pine scented air. We enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening on the deck which was a perfect vantage point to view the moon rising. For hikers the location is perfect, trails are just feet away from your front door! Stayed in Jesse James cabin. This is our third visit (and cabin) to Bottlehouse and we'll likely keep coming back. The cabins are like tiny houses, so they're best for two people (the sleeping lofts are only good for kids). JJ has two bathrooms, which is a plus. The hot tub is nice and the deck views are fantastic. Our host was very responsive. Check in and check out is easy. The road to the cabin is steep and 4x4 is helpful, but not necessary when it's dry.

My family and I stayed in the Lillian cabin for 3 nights and absolutely loved the experience. The cabin was perfect and the kids loved the loft. I liked that it was more remote than most of the cabins we looked at in Ruidoso. Everything was very clean when we arrived. Loved sitting on the covered deck and the kids enjoyed just roaming around the forest surrounding the cabin. All the staff we encoutered were very friendly. Many were working on some controlled burns of the brush and took the time to stop and talk with the kids. The trail to the national forest was a great way for the family to go explore. The only thing that we were not prepared for was the driveway up to the cabins but the minivan made it with no problems. ||||Overall it was a great experience and we will visit BottleHouse
