Boarders Inn & Suites by Cobblestone Hotels - Medford

In the last 5 years we come to the Dorchester/Medford area to visit family and have stayed at Boarders every visit the room has been very clean, beds very comfortable. And a hot breakfast but limited. On our last visit a couple days ago, we stayed 2 nights, when we got back to our room after being gone all day, we found the beds had been made and fresh towels. Was not expecting that at all. Will definitely be back.

We stay at Boarders one-two weekends per year when we visit my in-laws who live just outside of Medford. It is a simple, clean hotel which meets our family's needs for comfortable beds, included breakfast, and for a couple of the "kids" (teen, early 20s), a pool. There are very few hotels in Medford and one of the others does not include breakfast. |Now, this is not a criticism of Boarders, but more of a heads-up to future travelers. First, unfortunately, the person at the reception desk is also responsible for cleaning and vacuuming the lobby and breakfast room. She is also responsible for keeping the breakfast foods stocked. That means you will sometimes be waiting for food if the staff member is checking someone in. Not their fault, just how it is. Second, being as there are few options

I’ve stayed here a couple times and it’s always been great. The accommodations are always clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and it offers a small town atmosphere. |Easy check in and out which makes it convenient for business and they have cookies at night!

Me and my son came to stay for the night for hockey, and it was a nice cozy place. We enjoyed the pool and had breakfast before the game. Staff was friendly and helpful. We plan on coming back for the next game we have in the area.

We have stayed at Boarders many times, just last night again. We like the motel very much as the rooms are clean and comfortable. The only reason we rated the rooms at a 3 is because the bath fan is very loud and is turned on every time you use the toilet or shower area of bathroom it is on, so in the middle of the night it’s not good.
