This is a very nice small campground. We camped in the off season, Oct 13-15. And the weather on the second day was pretty cold, windy and rainy. But the campground offered a tailgating party and chili cook-off. Very friendly campers and staff. We had a camper and my daughter and her family stayed in a cabin. The cabin was small but nice and clean and cute. I am excited to go back in the summer season so we can enjoy the pond and sandy beach.

We stayed over July 4th weekend and pulled in on a Wednesday afternoon. It's recently a KOA affiliated campground. The owners have been know for a storied past, but our stay was uneventful other than the rain and an auto accident causing a power outage to about 2,000 AEP customers in the area. The sites are clean and ours was very level. There was a free breakfast one day. They always had things going on for the kids and adults alike. The bathhouse plumbing was suspect as it flushed very, very slowly. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Permanent campers did alot of work around the canpground to keep clean. High pride in ownership! I did not have a problem giving a deposit for a key card. People keep those on a regular basis if not. The $10 helps you remember to turn it back in

Great place to stay! Kevin, the host, was very friendly and helpful. Clean park and beautiful spots. We will definitely stay again.

Friendly staff is the best description of this campground. Easy to access location. Plenty of room between campers when compared to most private campground. We had adult children join us for an afternoon campfire. They did not charge us for our two college-age sons and only $4 for our independent daughter. WONDERFUL playground for our granddaughter. They welcomed us into the planned activities.

Although the campground is officially closed in the winter, it allows guests on the honor system. We stayed in late November and were able to park in a pull through with 50 amp service. The campground is close to I-75, so convenient. It's well kept and in a nice area. It would be a lovely place to stay in the summer. What really impressed me, however, was the honesty of the owners. I accidentally overpaid when I put the overnight fee in the slot but did not discover it until a few days later. I immediately called the park and Elaine Harris opened my envelope while I was on the phone and said she would refund me the extra money right away. I received her cheque a few days later. I'm very impressed and wish I could give 6 stars.
