Blue Star Inn & Suites Delmar

I got bed bugs and roaches cheap place. You pay $90 $70 to $90 a night but you got roaches all over the walls every single day and night along with bed bugs. Then they expect you to keep paying for the room like you're supposed to, but they can't even get somebody out there to make sure you don't have bugs and stuff in your room biting your kids. Eating them all up even showed the office and everything what my kids look like. They didn't care. They said oh we'll just get spray. Maybe throw everything in a black bag? None of that work. It's just cheap. Go to a different hotel and they bend over backwards for you

NOTE: The new name of this place is the Blue Star Inn||||It is a roach-infested dump. It's so infested that the bug guy has to come out every week to spray. It's so bad that the place is in trouble with the state and is walking a very fine line to not be shut down.||||The motel itself is a dump. They claim they are renovating because a new guy bought the place in December 2021. What they did do is have unlicensed morons try to fix the place. They did a poor job of it. Tiles were laid incorrectly on the bathroom floor and the 12 x 12 tiles in the showers were laid poorly. There are large gaps where there should be grout.||||Many of the rooms do not have doors that close completely and some have locks that are broken. The manager is amazing and the service to rooms is sufficient. The prices suit shallow pockets and it's quiet. Plenty of local food options with Delmar Diner and gas station right across the parking lot. Food lion, WaWa, and 2 shopping centers about a half mile up the road.

The place is dirty. I had makeup and hair in my pillow cases. The shower was very dirty. I felt unsafe. They said they had free Wi-Fi. The girl at the front desk said it almost never works. It didn't work for me at all.

Me and my husband where staying here while we waited on a house to be finished.The staff were extremely friendly and very curious. Mr Ola was very helpful and attentive. Very quiet and comfortable. The rooms where very clean. I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Sincerely, The Griffis's family.|
