We stayed here with a group of friends for the New Year celebration, and it turned out to be an absolutely fantastic experience. The place has a unique charm—spacious, cozy, and thoughtfully designed for both relaxation and social gatherings. The kitchen is impressively well-equipped, making it easy to cook for a large group. We rented the entire property, including both houses, and that was definitely the right choice—everyone had plenty of space and privacy while still feeling connected. Every detail seemed to be arranged with comfort in mind, from the quality of the amenities to the overall ambiance. My son and I were going up to Kirkwood in the evening from the SF Bay Area and I wanted to sleep on the way there. Black Station Inn was the closest accommodation before Kirkwood (another ~30miles up the mountain). For about $120 we got a spacious room with a king size bed and a large bathroom. The bedroom was rustic but clean. The bed was firm yet comfortable. The bathroom was outdated but functional. ||The hosts where super nice and we had dinner at their restaurant, which was very good. ||Will stay again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this house! Everything was perfect. The home is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, and the kitchen is incredibly functional—perfect for preparing meals with family or friends. The bedrooms are very spacious, each with its own ensuite bathroom, offering both comfort and privacy. The added bonus of the gym and sauna made our stay even more special and relaxing. Corby, our host, was amazing—always friendly, very responsive, and attentive to every need to ensure our stay was flawless. We can’t wait to come back for another stay in this beautiful place. We had an amazing stay at this beautifully remodeled Airbnb! The attention to detail was fantastic – the fireplace added such a cozy touch, and the common area was perfect for relaxing with games and plenty of seating. The kitchen was modern and well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. There was a ton of space, and the separate dependence was so well arranged, offering privacy and comfort. The entire area is lovely, with a serene and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a memorable getaway! Host is great as well! +1 for the Sauna and the gym

Beautiful luxury cabin nestled among tall pines near Tahoe. Peaceful and beautifully designed with a sauna, a big fireplace, and a perfect deck for stargazing. Game room, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable beds were also highlights. Loved every detail! Host was great and super accommodating, we will be back!
