Black Lake Cottages

I visited Black Lake Cottages recently. The moment I pulled in to the driveway, any stress I had melted instantly away. The lake is beautiful and the cottages charming, rustic and welcoming. I forgot what it was like to go back to the basics of happiness: family, a log cabin, s’mores over the fire pit and sipping a glass of wine from an Adirondack chair facing the lake. What makes this place truly unique is the property owner Lee Hill. Lee makes you feel like family instantly. She is warm and welcoming and someone you will want as a friend forever. Highly recommend Black Lake Cottages as a place to dial back, relax and enjoy nature.

An amazing place for a family vacation. I was able to rent a cottage directly on the website and the owner, Lee, immediately sent me a welcome text in addition to the automated confirmation email. Nice personal touch. The property itself is beautiful. Our cottage had 180 degree views of Black Lake. Very picturesque. S’mores by the fire was a great way to end the day. I highly recommend Black Lake Cottages for a vacation rental.

A really great place to stay. Secluded and it felt like your own little spot at the lake. Not like staying in a place with many cottages that were too close together. The owner was readily available to answer any questions and more than accommodating. Private boat dock that is very sturdy. Highly recommend this cabin if you are looking for a peaceful place that is close to anything you’d like to enjoy about the area!!

Had an amazing time at Black Lake Cottages. The cottage renovations are incredible and the views of Black Lake are one of a kind. Highly recommend to stay here when you are in the Black Lake region. Fish and boating are amazing so many options to charter a pontoon boat to relax or go tubing. Whole family had a great time.

I spent a wonderful week at Black Lake Cottages at the end of August. The owner, Lee, greeted us as we arrived, making us feel welcomed and at home. The cottage had several updates since our last stay giving it a fresh look. I highly recommend a stay at Black Lake Cottages. I am looking forward to my next stay.
