I stayed here for a few nights with two other adults and two kids, so we rented two cabins. The cabins were clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the minifridge and microwave. One cabin smelled kind of funky, though, like someone had been smoking in or too close to it at some point. The manager was hard to contact during our stay, so I never bothered asking if something could be done about the smell. We also had a little difficulty with our AC unit, although I think that did get fixed while we were there. The shower house seemed new and was consistently clean, although one bathroom ran out of paper towels at one point, and the floor was almost always soaking wet because each room desperately needed a bath mat of some kind. It's a convenient location for the whole Rapid City area, thoug
We have stayed here a few times, and it is our favorite place to stay when we make a trip to Rapid City. It is only 14 miles from Rapid City. The staff are very friendly, the cabins are the perfect size and comfortable. The bath houses are clean and stocked. We prefer the cabins over a hotel anyway. You won't be disappointed if you stay at Black Hills Station!!
We stayed here for one night on our way to Yellowstone and loved it! Super cute cabin with plenty of room for myself and 2 kids with the queen bed and 2 twins with trundle. Beds were comfy, showers were clean, and we appreciated the extras included like shampoo, conditioner, and several bottles of water. Loved having a pool and we can’t wait to return!
We stayed in one of the little cabins, and not only was it adorably decorated, but it was also comfortable, had everything we needed, and was perfectly clean. I would plunk down money to stay here any time I plan to be in this area. Actually, because this place is dog friendly, I would drive out of my way for the privilege of staying in such a fun little cabin with its rocking chairs on the front porch. And I almost forgot the bathrooms! Glorious heat in the early morning, privacy, and again, beautiful. So many hooks to hang your belongings, too! Big recommendations here.
Cute cabins, clean, quiet and economical. Staff is nice and they jave rocking chairs outside. One of my favorite places to stay when im in the Black Hills.
