This has got to be the absolute worst hotel I have ever been to. Ever since the new owners took over, the breakfast area is constantly out of items and is a disgusting mess. There’s never anyone at the front desk so you’re constantly waiting on someone to come out of a random room down the hall. The rooms are decent at best, as long as everything works in them. Most of the time something is broke. Do not recommend staying here one bit

I’ve stayed here multiple weeks and the place has gone downhill fast. My room key hasn’t worked for five days — I’ve had to get let in every morning. Laundry service that used to be offered just stopped without notice. The breakfast quality has dropped, and the air in my room smells damp and unhealthy. The previous staff were great, but whoever’s running things now clearly doesn’t care about guests. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to anyone until serious changes are made.

One of the best experience I have personally had. The staff was so accommodating. Everyone is so friendly. Breakfast was great I was there for 37 days and had so many different breakfast options. Housekeeping ladies are awesome 👏. I will definitely stay at Black Gold on my next trip.

New management took over this week.... it seems theyre goal is to thin down the size of the guests either by not supplying enough food at breakfast or just being nasty with the way the food is served. Serving utensils are just tossed on the counter, food stuck to them and all. Yesterday's gravy was in a cereal bowl on the counter, not covered or being kept at a safe temperature. I cant comment on the cleaning yet as nobody has serviced my room since the takeover. The picture is of breakfast on day 2

New owners/management took over and so far very disappointing. No longer provides the laundry service that was beneficial for us oil field workers with the little time we have as it is. Breakfast use to be pretty good and now it's awful. Have to reset our key cards for our rooms almost everyday. Honestly hope our company decides to not use them in the future. The old management was much better and cared about its customers. This new management is completely disgraceful!
