Black Canyon Wimberley - Modern Cabin Getaways & Gatherings

Our stay at Summermoon Farmhouse Cottage was absolutely wonderful, highlighted by the stunning scenery that provided a perfect, peaceful backdrop to our stay in Wimberley. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring we were well-rested throughout our visit. We truly appreciated the easy communication with Stacey, which made the entire process seamless and stress-free. The great coffee provided was a delightful touch to our mornings, and the fabulous amenities exceeded our expectations. Thank you for hosting us for such a memorable experience! We stayed at the Jackrabbit Farmhouse for a few days while my parents parked next door in the camper spot. It looked and felt brand new. Came stocked with everything you’d need for a stay. It was a small, quiet campground with awesome amenities at the sister location a few lots down the road. Will definitely be coming back!

Black Canyon was everything we needed for our January week of get-away! The park is exceptionally clean, beautifully maintained, SO wonderfully quiet, and although small, close enough to nature for short walks and close enough to Wimberley for restaurants, shopping, and other services. We loved the pull-through site and all the hook-ups worked perfectly. The park owners were warm and friendly, prompt and clear in all their communication, and exceedingly helpful when we ran into a maintenance issue. We will be back!

Such a gem! Full hook ups worked perfect. Bath house a bit of a walk but not a problem for us. So quiet. Stayed 4 nights and would definitely stay again. Close to town and love this part of Texas. Stacey the owner was great also!

This RV park is an absolute gem, hosts are extremely welcoming and the grounds are very well kept. If you want a party resort, this isn’t it; but if you want a park that is uncrowded and quiet, with starry nights and local wildlife, look no further than Black Canyon Wimberley. The attached pictures are our RV parked in Site #5. That site is located toward the back near the 2 cabins and my personal preference. The resort has a pool and clubhouse also, but do note that it is 3 driveways down with their other cabins, about 200 yards or so from the main RV sites, an easy walk or bike ride. We went over and checked it out and it’s quite nice. The surrounding area of Wimberley is a wonderful hill country experience. We’ll be back!
