Bigfoot Motel

We arrived late after calling the hotel to let them know. They told us that would be fine. We rang the bell and called multiple times, but it was clear there is not someone on staff for overnight. The website says 24-hour office hours, but we were not able to check in and had to sleep in our car.

DO NOT STAY HERE Pros: - location - bigfoot in name Cons: - dirty linens on bed - dirty pillow case - broken bed - smells awful - dirty floor - hairs in shower - holes in blinds allowing people to watch you shower - missing smoke detector - holes in walls - walls not clean - dirty microwave Need.i.go.on? Because I can. It was simply one of the worst places I've stayed in. If I haven't convinced you yet also take into account that the building is in extremely poor condition and looks on the verge of collapse! Please, please, please.... Do yourself and your family a favor and find somewhere else to stay.

The front desk lady was incredibly kind and helpful. She offered my family rooms right next to each other, but sadly, both had major issues: one had a broken AC and the other had no water in the toilet. The lady did everything she could, and it was clear it wasn't her fault; she even apologized profusely and explained that the owner doesn't care much about the property. It's a shame because she was wonderful, but the rooms were not usable. The owner needs to do a better job caring for this place.

Wonderful little place in a wonderful little small town!! I went here with a bunch of friends and completely messed up the booking and payment. Despite the person at the office being gone for an emergency and the poor connection at the ring cam, they got me into our rooms and when the owner arrived i was able to get payment sorted really quick. They were very chill about the checkout time which was cool! The place had a bunch of really nice and interesting people to talk to there at night and people gave some really good advice on places to check out in the area!! I’d say the price for this place is really fair for what you get, and the people running it are awesome and really chill 1000% will stay there again if given the chance!!

The woman at check in was great! Otherwise, not great, or good. Pretty rough and extremely small. Anyone 6' 6" or taller might not be able to stand up straight. Pretty rough... On the bright side, The Forks Lounge is right across the street and is a great place to enjoy a few drinks.
