We had the opportunity to spend a few nights to test out our new camper. And this is the place I found. Not only is it a large property, it has 3 ponds for “Catch and Release” fishing, which the kids had an ABSOLUTE great time doing. They had zip-lining which goes through trees and over the pond. Beautiful scenic views, and a gorgeous waterfall. This was a perfect getaway to enjoy family, quiet time, and just outside. We will be going back. We also had the chance to meet Andy Baggenstoss himself who was very nice and took the time to introduce himself, and one of his lovely twin daughters who was out taking photographs of their property. We’ve been to several RV campgrounds, but this was by far one of the nicest kept ones with the options to enjoy some scenic views or a fire. Thanks for h
Nice RV campground with hookups, and lots of tent sites. RV sites were very nice, although little shade. We also used the shuttle service to the Caverns for a concert, which was convenient but didn't get us back until 2 hours after the concert ended.
Beautiful property. Immaculately maintained. There is a great road system through the property to allow you to explore. It's about a mile from the campground to the overlook. Two beautifully ponds for fishing. RV sites are all pull through with full hookups. The sites are grass with a gravel drive for your rig. Most sites will require leveling. I needed 7" under my front tires on a 35' class A.
Ziplines are a lot of fun! Beautiful place!! The Point is amazing!!
Full disclosure, I've never camped before this last weekend so I have no basis for comparison. Having said that, the setting for this campground is gorgeous. The grounds are immaculate, as is the bathroom facility (Pro-tip:take a roll of toilet paper with you, it goes faster than they can keep up with.) I'm not sure what Bigfoot has to do with camping, and while it's not a complaint, I wonder if they would be better served by downplaying the mythical beast angle and playing up the incredible location and surroundings instead. We stayed at the campground because of its proximity to the Pelham Caverns concert facility. Due to a last minute cancellation by the artist, I never even saw the caves, but I wasn't too upset since I got in a nice, vigorous hike around the area to see a creek, wate
