Big Meadow Lodge is a true hidden gem for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle and soak in California’s pristine wilderness. We stayed here while traveling along US-395, and it was easily the highlight of our trip. The location is breathtaking, surrounded by majestic mountains, crisp fresh air, and a sense of total tranquility. The service was absolutely top-notch; the staff is incredibly welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The rooms are cozy, spotless, and offer a peaceful atmosphere perfect for unwinding. If you’re searching for a place to recharge and enjoy the stunning Bridgeport scenery, this is the spot. I’ll definitely be back!

Big Meadow Lodge has a very cute and cabin like vibe. The rooms are clean and even come with a microwave and fridge! The staff here is beyond nice. I lost my phone charger and the man at the front desk happily lent me his. If anything I would stay here just with the guarantee of exceptional service. Thanks so much you guys.

Stopped here after driving for 15 hours and it was such a warm ,comforting, reenergizing space. Nice and clean and very cozy. Someone met us at the car to show us where our key and room was at. Room had a microwave, fridge, and electric kettle with hot drink options. Bathroom was super clean with fresh towels and shampoo and soap. Beds were very comfortable (firm) and the room heated up very fast. Beautiful views out the window! Would love to stop here again.

Nice, clean room to sleep in a unique, quaint setting. Not a super 'classy' place, but just what I expected. We came in late and they left a note for us to self check-in which was very seamless. Isolated, quiet area. A little noise from the highway, but not enough to keep me awake. No complaints.

Stayed here for a funnily reunion and this place was perfect! Owners were kind and generous with us. Room was very comfortable with all working amenities (fridge, microwave, tv, internet, table space, chairs, hot water). We were out most of the day (there is a lot of hiking, lakes, etc nearby) and just needed a quiet spot to come back to. Occasional traffic noise from 395 is easy to handle with earplugs. The windows let in cross breezes and views are magnificent! Highly recommend!
