Big Bear Lodge

Beautiful place. The view was amazing. The cabin was awesome. The bedrooms has their own bathroom and bathtubs. There was a lot theater room and a game room that kept us busy. The downside of the cabin was the roads on the mountain leading to the cabin. They were only wise enough for one car to pass through and they winded around like crazy. Also, we had bears visit us every day. There were no signs posted about the bears. We were going to go hiking but after the bears came on the first day, we decided not to. The mama bear climbed up 3 stories to the balcony trying to get good. It was pretty scary. Overall, I enjoyed myself and I think it's a Beautiful place to stay.

Beautiful cabin, everything you could hope for in a vacation rental. Lots of things to do; video games pool table, theater, great rap around porch for chatting and nature watching. We viewed bears right from the property. Well maintained facilities.

The bed is a piece of crap the pillows suck the bulbs are burned out the cabin is dirty and some rooms stink. The shower curtain needs burned its so gross. The couches suck if your looking for a place with really really shitty pain in the ass parking and a really shitty cabin with a nice view this is your place.

Stayed here with a group of 12 (6 couples) December 2021. The cabin is beautiful and very well decorated. Stocked with everything you need. The drive up will get your heart rate going but the view from the top is pretty cool. They have 5 bedrooms and at least 3 pull out sofas so the place could possibly sleep up to 16 or more. The basement has a really nice home theater and the game room on the top floor is stocked with a pool table, and several arcade games. 2 large decks (bear watching all 3 days) and a huge common area for gathering. Plenty of parking and again an awesome place with a larger group of 8-12

Very spacious and nice amenities. The floors were very filthy when we arrived. The seating was not properly secured and several family members had chairs tip over on them for normal use. When we lost power, due to the winds, the management company refused to provide us with emergency candles. They said it wasn't worth it, because we would probably have power back before they arrived. So don't depend on them to provide you with much help during an emergency.
