My friend and I needed a place to stay in the LA area for a couple of days. We found this place on Expedia and were initially skeptical, but the staff quickly made us feel welcome and safe. They were upfront and honest with us about everything and they genuinely wanted their guests to have a good stay. The room was pretty clean and they definitely change the sheets and blankets between guests. In addition, the motel was in a good area and was located close to several restaurants and markets. I've read several reviews saying people didn't get their deposits back, but my friend got ours back within a day. I think that as long as you're careful to keep the room as is and not damage anything, you should be fine. Overall, it may not be the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in, but I had a great exp

Do yourself a massive favor and don't stay here. It was cheap so I wasn't expecting much but wow did they manage to blow me away with how disgusting this place was. I booked the room for three nights and walked out after not staying any. The manager has refused to give me my money back. - My most serious complaint and incredulously heinous part of the room was the bed. There were MULTIPLE STAINS AND RESIDUE ON THE COMFORTER AND BOTH SETS OF SHEETS. - There was mold above the shower - Shower only had cold water - Rampant and massive stains all over the carpet - Clear dust and residue all furniture and surfaces - The lock to the front door of the complex had been DRILLED OUT. There was no mechanism to stop literally anyone on the street that wanted to come inside. - I had booked two consec

The professionalism of this hotel is awful. They asked 70$ for the cleaning fee but they never come to clean the place. I asked for a clean towel and they never answered. The person who took us to re room told us that nobody would have been in the hotel during the day but if we were to need assistance we had to text a number he gave us. The problem? They never answer, you can’t call them cause the number goes directly to voicemail. The windows are forced, and there’s no surveillance at any moment. The place smells like smoke everywhere! Awful service, stinky place. I won’t come if I were you. Don’t trust the pictures you find online

Our stay at the Beverly Merlot was rather strange. We couldn’t actually find the hotel at first because there is no sign anywhere on the building. Check in was between 6pm and 9pm which makes it very difficult for people who arrive early (fortunately we had a car so were able to leave our things in there while we explored the city). The listing on booking.com stated there was parking but again the location of the car park was unclear. We ended up parking on the street free of charge anyway. When we finally managed to check in, the “receptionist” (not sure of his role) informed us of the $250 (!!!) deposit which was not on booking.com. We reluctantly paid and he said it would be refunded when we check out. This was actually refunded almost 6 weeks later. He then used his iPhone to take a p

If I could give "no star" I would. The pictures on the hotel website are not the same picture as to what your room will look like. I booked a 3 week stay online with hotel protection insurance. When I arrived, I asked to see my room before I fully checked in. The room was dirty, disgusting, and unaccommodating. There were bugs across the floor, there was no tile or carpet on the inside floor at all. The floor was stained with old glue, and dirt. The floor was not level so it's easy to fall and trip. There was a closet door against partial of the window that was used for a window shade. The beds were stained and yellowish-tint. The smoke detector had wires coming out the side. The window had no screen which was unsafe for small children. I asked for another room which was denied. I asked fo
