Bethpage Camp-Resort

We were semi-permanwnt site holders for 2 years. It was sold to us as a kid friendly and family campground. This place has become an absolute Frat party. Blaring music everywhere all day and night. Even past the noise curfew. Every pool is surrounded by coolers full of alcohol and drunks. Even the kids pool. Food being ate and dropped in the pools. Golf Carts blasting explicit music all day and night. With the expansion the facilities are not enough to support the number of people. Pools are shoulder to shoulder, long lines at every shop, and not e ought parking for golf carts. Definitely don't recommend for a family with kids. We stopped going and ate 4K.

Every year we stop in Maryland or Virginia on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay, but this was our first stop at Bethpage Camp-Resort - WOW. From the moment you roll through the gates, it’s clear this is more than a campground—it’s a full-blown vacation experience. The sprawling water park splashes to your right, a serene freshwater lake and sandy beach stretch to your left, and the warm welcome from the staff sets the tone for your stay. We were there for two weeks in October, and though it was "off-season" and the pool was closed, there were still lots of activities and plenty to do in the area. We had the pleasure of staying two Halloween theme weekends at this campground and the fun is top notch! The planned activities by their excellent staff kept all ages of our group excited and we have never experienced trick or treating or costume contests to this magnitude! The staff truly works hard and are all happy and helpful. Their haunted house was outstanding, having an earlier time slot for those who don’t wish to be scared and later for the brave ones. Cannot recommend this place enough, the views the people and the entertainment and the people cannot be beat!

We stay every year for the Oyster Festival (13 yr to date) and sometimes in between. The ladies at the registration desk are always very nice and accommodating office, the grounds nicely landscaped and the grounds crew helpful. The sites are big rig friendly. During the Fest the campground has vendors on Saturday and live music during the evening in the common area field. The onsite hay wagon rides to/from the town of Urbanna is wonderful during the Fest. An added plus and relief for us is the on site RV mobile repair company (A.Pace). We’ve had to use the service a couple of times for unexpected emergencies. The campers at Bethpage always friendly. Gave yet to see any problems. A great place for families and couples to stay when visiting the area.

Always a great relaxing time at Bethpage! The folks at the main gate made check-in a breeze and the ladies at the front desk always very friendly and accommodating whenever I gad questions. The Oyster Fest music line up on Saturday in the common area was fantastic! The grounds always nicely maintained. LL1a is our favorite site for our big rig. Always a great stress relief to know that A.Pace RV repair services is available in case of emergency. Thankfully this time we didn’t gave any. Looking forward to returning in 2026!
