Bethel Village Motel

I stayed here a total of four nights while I was in the area hiking the Grafton Loop Trail. The accommodations are cute, cozy, and clean with fair pricing. Ruthie is very attentive and even offered laundry service (for my smelly hiking clothes that was a serious treat!!!). We stayed here for 3 nights in August. I was a little skeptical due to the very reasonable pricing but it turned out to be really terrific. Simple but extremely well maintained and spotless, A great bakery next door for breakfast or lunch, a grocery store one door away on the other side, and don't miss the Maine Mineral and Gem museum across the street!

Yep, awesome place. Basic motel but without any negative stigmas. A really great keeper makes it feel like an inn. Room was extremely clean and comfortable. Good view onto the main drag, it’s not noisy, clean patio (all rooms second floor) The location couldn’t be better, next-door to a great cafe, next to a small-hannafords, right smack in town and Sunday-skiing only 15 minutes away.

I can’t recommend this motel enough for those traveling to Sunday River or Mount Abram. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and large enough for a family to share. Ruth, the owner, has owned the motel for many years and cares deeply for her customers. The motel is close to multiple ski mountains and walking distance to food and shopping. I will surely stay again!

This is a cozy little motel right in the heart of downtown Bethel that is essentially a one-woman show.||The owner, Ruthy, is friendly and chatty and provides warm MAine hospitality in about a dozen rooms on the second floor above her clothing boutique in the heart of the quaint little downtown. The largest grocery store in town is two doors down, and there is a popular bakery right next door.||One important thing to know in advance is that all of the rooms are on the second floor and accessible by two staircases.
