Best Western The Inn at Ramsey

DO NOT STAY HERE I had a horrible experience staying at this hotel. As soon as I walked into the hallway and my room, there was a very strong smell of weed that made the entire floor unpleasant. It was clear that the hotel either doesn’t enforce any rules about smoking or doesn’t care about the comfort of other guests. The room itself was also very unclean. The floors looked like they hadn’t been properly vacuumed, and the surfaces felt sticky and poorly wiped down. It definitely did not feel like the room had been properly cleaned before my arrival. Overall, this was a really disappointing stay. Between the strong weed smell and the lack of cleanliness, it made the entire experience uncomfortable. I would not recommend staying here and will not be returning.

The hotel was fine. My problem was that I found a door that lead to another room and I had a hard time being able to rest like I was hoping due to the fear of someone coming into my room while I slept. I wish I had been told my room was connected to another room. I got the whirlpool tub which I was so looking forward to. It seemed like it was wiped down but not thoroughly clean. Other than these two issues, the room itself looked pretty clean and breakfast was delicious. Hotel staff was nice. I forgot my toothpaste and the hotel staff gave me some.

Hotel is OK at best. 2nd stay in a week for work. Never saw an elevator. Folks like to lounge on the stairs. Walls are thin and I was treated to some woman gossiping about her friends until 2am. Restaurant closed for fire code violations. Breakfast is below McDonald's quality.

Positive: Room clean up was good. Negative: Back exit door always open for anyone to come in.

I never write reviews but I don’t think I will ever stay in a Best Western again after this. For the cost of this hotel, I cannot believe how many bugs I found in the room and the amount of suspect stains on the walls. There were even stains on the sheets. The location is convenient for this trips purpose. The people are friendly and the breakfast met expectations but the rooms seriously need a deep clean.
