Best Western Sycamore Inn

Best Western Sycamore inn is seriously the best hotel ever! I just stayed with BW last weekend. And my son and I truly enjoyed our time here! The pool was wonderful. But the beds were heavenly! The best sleep of my life!!! 10/10! Highly recommend!

Do not stay at this location if you want to get a peaceful night's sleep. The three rooms around us had loud barking dogs. It had us awake several time throughout the night and then again bright and early in the morning.

I had a very comfortable stay! Very nice and friendly staff. The amenities were sufficient. The breakfast was more than sufficient as well. Very comfortable, clean and large rooms. My only complaint was the bathroom mirror lighting. Terribly insufficient. Women need light for applying makeup. I was in town for a competition and had a hard time applying makeup. That was super annoying. The mirror has a backlight that is more of a night light than lighting one would expect. But other than that. It was a very comfortable stay.

Positive: "" Negative: breakfast inedible (biscuits hard, gravy sludge, bagels stale, cereal generic & it tasted like it, bananas were black, pancakes raw), room had a smell, A/C unit was dusty & kicked up allergens when turned on, not clean (hair on desk, bedside table dirty)

We have been staying here for three months while relocating from Colorado back here to IL. Our stay here has been exceptional. Our room is quite comfy, All the employees are very pleasant, friendly, efficient and professional. Our room is very clean, roomy and quiet with everything we need. The people that keep our room clean and tidy are very pleasant and thorough. Breakfast is great as well. As To the negative comment left from Ms. Mitten and her cheer leader group last week- I wish she would have not allowed all those little darlings to run through the hallways yelling until 10 pm and again at 5 am disturbing the rest of us during their stay while the very patient employees tried extremely hard to maintain some kind of discipline in the hotel just short of asking them all to leave.
