Best Western Sunrise Inn

Great location if you need to be in the Eager/Springerville area. But the rooms are way overdue for some TLC. Our bathroom door handle was barely hanging on. The TV remove fell apart. The furniture and lamps should have been replaced 10 years ago. And the mattress was beyond old and uncomfortable. I see in a previous review they are planning a remodel. I cannot wait as we plan to stay here a couple times a year while visiting relatives.

I enjoyed my stay at the Sunrise Inn. It is a very simple hotel, which I love. The continental breakfast was decent. My issue came after my stay. I called the desk to request a receipt be emailed to me and I spoke to Debbie. She was brusk from the start and got frustrated with me very easily, despite me being polite and patient. She informed me that “they were working on the computers”. I had to repeat my email to her 3 times. On the third time she got upset, cut me off and told me “look, I have to go”. And tried to hang up the phone. I told her “no”. And repeated the last half of my email to her. She then said “alright” and hung up. I waited 2 days and called back. I got Debbie again. I stated who I was and that we had spoke the other day and repeated my request for an email receipt. She

Where to start, I guess with the positives. The front desk staff are very nice, breakfast opens at five until ten which is unusual but nice. The mattress were on the newer side and the linens were clean.|I would rate the property on the lower side of a Motel 6. Literally threadbare carpet which I haven’t seen at any BW EVER and we’ve stayed at many, at least in the triple digits. The bathroom is another story, the toilet seat was so loose you had to watch out that it and you wouldn’t slide off or get a nasty pinch you know where.| The shower, what an experience! Got it up and running and at a good warm temp only to have it randomly go COLD. Either we got the upgraded Spa Room with an attempt at a cold plunge or something is really wrong with the system, not to mention the shower head leake

Room was old and like smoke. Big gap in door, binds falling off. Leaky toilet. Hotel is nice but in desperate need of a remodel.

A little disruptive due to large remodeling project. Rooms are clean and comfortable.
