Best Western Storrs

Walked up to the desk around 10pm on a Saturday night. Got a better price than the internet, immediate check in, and a clean nice room in under 5 minutes. You made a lasting impression. I had a family member at Wyndham hospital. After a long drive and an even longer day I did a quick Google search and decided to skip the online crap and just walk in and ask how much for 2 nights. This couldn't have been easier on a day I really needed it. They literally have a staples 'easy button' on the front counter.

My partner and I travelled to this hotel to stay for a wedding in nearby Willimantic. We checked the reservation and it said check in was at 4 pm. So we called ahead the day before since the wedding started at 4 pm and we needed to be checked in early. We called and asked if that was at all possible. The guy on the phone was very quick and abrupt. He said yes that shouldn't be a problem and then was quick to get me off the phone. It felt odd. When we show up the front staff was telling us we would need to pay to check in early. We told him we called the day before and he said no one must have written it down. This was super frustrating because we called ahead to see if they can accommodate it and they told us there wouldn't be any issues. They also never mentioned any additional cost unt

This was our second time staying at the Inn at Storrs.l, and will stay again. We were in town for a family holiday and needed a place to stay for the overnight. The Inn at Storrs checked all boxes as the room was clean and beds were comfortable. The location is convenient - with several shopping centers adjoining the hotel, close to the highways and near several walking trails. Even the free breakfast provided a quick cup of coffee, muffins, pastry, and cereal - just enough to get you out and about. There are several other restaurants nearby for a more substantial meal. The staff was friendly and helpful. At half the price (or more) of the other hotel by UConn this is a great option if you just need a place to stay after being out and about.

Wow, the inside did not live up to the outside of the hotel. Limited options for grad weekend so jumped to stay here. There were two positives, the front desk staff and the beds were comfortable. However, the rooms are extremely dated, they smell like bleach, and there is a funky smell otherwise. It sorely needs renovating and the free breakfast was woefully inadequate. Book early if you’re going to UConn somewhere else.

My stay at The Inn on Storrs was nothing short of amazing! Jenilu was the sweetest! She was attentive, accommodating and welcoming. She went above and beyond to let us check in early and even told the cleaning crew to stay quiet as we slept during the day because we traveled all night. The hotel is in a great location, it’s very clean and new! Beds were really comfortable and the bathrooms were extremely clean, modern, with great lighting and hot water. I have nothing but great things to say about the customer service and hotel. I highly recommend staying here! Thank you Jenilu for your hospitality and kindness.
