Best Western Rutgers University Hotel

I just wanna start out to say that Shri ,Darcy, Nick and James were nothing but sweethearts anything that we needed they made sure to handle it for us. And they all had great attitudes. me and my husband have been working on the road traveling for eight years that being said we stay in a lot of motels/hotels and Airbnb‘s I just wanna say that this hotel was clean. Nothing was wrong with our rooms. We stayed in room. 303 for the first three weeks that we were there then we ended up going home for Christmas coming back then they put us on the fourth floor in room 410 neither room that we stayed in had bugs of any sort thank goodness the rooms were super clean. Accomodations had everything a visitor needs up to standard, nothing fancy though. Receptionist while I checked in was great: friendly and helpful. Location is a few miles (short Uber) to starland ballroom which made it convenient as well. It's right off the turnpike too which is super convenient but did make it a little noisy at night. Hooters next door is an easy spot for a quick dinner before a concert etc.

Positive: Hotel itself was very clean and accommodating. The breakfast was fantastic! Negative: Congested interstate and highway runs right along it, the patio had a lot of trash all over including broken glass and food.

Convenient hotel to 2 highways and quiet despite the highway access. Nearby neighborhood for a walk and close to Rutgers. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed and good space for hanging clothes, working on a laptop and sitting.

I’ve been staying here almost weekly while training in a new career. The rooms are cleaned and the bed is made daily. Everything is always very clean! The front desk staff is all kind and helpful, but a huge shout out to James who is always kind, professional and helpful. I just left hospitality management and wish I would have had more employees like him! This is not a resort, there is no pool, but if you’re staying for work or a weekend this is a great spot and has everything you need with a great price. The staff works hard to put together a wonderful breakfast every morning (included) and the gym is always kept clean.
