Best Western Plus Hartford Lodge

Service was awesome. Very friendly staff. Truck parking in a lot across the street but a good amount of parking. Pool looks nice. Rooms look much nicer in person. Breakfast was great. I was pleasantly surprised by this spot off the I-5. As a traveling for work kind of guy, the office chair in the room was the best seat i sat in since the start of the year.

Disappointing from the very start, did not recognize our diamond status and when asked about what the laundry room required I was told the dryer was not working. Our room was very hot. It took forever to cool off. Complaint was ignored. The remote did not work and when it was replaced we were very disappointed to find the listings were subpar. Very restless night due to the heat. Breakfast was a big disappointment. They do a cook to order but it is very chaotic. Had to ask twice for yogurt and my sister never got the sausage that was supposed to come with the eggs. Would not return. There is nothing plus about this location.

They accept dogs and put us on the bottom floor. Dogs not allowed on furniture so ensure you've got dog beds. The bathroom was a bit tired, but the beds were great for a side sleeper. It was cold and the heater worked quickly. Breakfast the next morning was awesome! Made to order omelettes and pancakes. I used the waffle machine and made a sandwich with the waffles and my omelette. Excellent service at breakfast.

I booked a night at this hotel because we were passing through, and we were on the road for hours, not expecting much for a small town off the interstate, but after getting there I was very impressed. The rooms, the exterior, the lobby, all of it was very enchanting. The log-cabin design was so comfortable and delightful. Not only was the hotel very comfortable, but the receptionist at the front desk named Lou was absolutely hilarious and very helpful! He went out of his way to help us and made the hotel very memorable. I hope I can make it back to this lodge again.
