Best Western Plus Harrisburg Mechanicsburg

The front-of-house staff are exceptional and consistently strive to provide excellent customer service. However, the owner appears to prioritize maximizing revenue over investing in adequate staffing to deliver on promised services. Consequently, it can be challenging to obtain room service, and the housekeeping staff often neglect to thoroughly clean the rooms or report maintenance issues. Furthermore, they disregarded my instructions and discarded my recently purchased fast food. I continue to stay here due to my children's fondness for the staff and the convenient location, which benefits me as well. Nevertheless, I would not choose to stay at this location again due to the language barrier, inadequate room service, and equipment malfunctions.

I stay here sometimes because it is close to my job. Very reliable hotel, staff is always pleasant and kind. During the snowstorm they had a shovel that was available to use for our cars. And after a friend and I returned late in the evening (clearly just clocked out of work, and clearly left late) she went to the room to collect her things while I started on clearing her car out. The gentleman at the desk had geared up and come out to help me, even swapped me for the shovel and did that part for me, it was so kind and he definitely didn’t need to do that. Overall good experience and I’d recommend to friends needing a room.

Let me start off by saying beautiful view and the staff was friendly; unfortunately, that doesn't help them by giving them more stars. We had to change our rooms three times. The first time, it was dirty; the second time, they couldn't fix the TV and latch; and the third time, it was dirty, but not the worst. I appreciate the time they took for us and tried to make our night great, but I can't get over the cleanliness and safety issues I had. My anxiety was high. The view, however, they had was great, and it has much potential, but it's like the episode of Hotel Hell or one of those kinds of shows you would see. The bathtub didn't look like anyone would clean it, the vents and air conditioner looked dirty and had fuzz, and we didn't feel comfortable taking off our shoes on the floors. I

Drive back to Canada from Florida when it started snowing so we stopped there. Front desk girl was super friendly, even making a nice effort to speak in French. The hotel was clean, safe, quiet, breakfast was eggs, sausages... we were given a choice of rooms, advice on where to eat and we chose a diner. Will go back.

Positive: The staff was very friendly. Negative: Noise that you could hear through the walls. People just having conversations could be heard.
