Best Western Plus Grapevine Inn

We booked 5 consecutive nights in this motel in Sunnyside. Our check in was very strange, as the self-professed "general manager" appeared confused and unable to read our reservation. But he gave us the room key to take upstairs and see if we liked the "view-side room" he had supposedly reserved for us. We walked upstairs, unlocked the door, opened it, and shocked the guest who was inside changing clothes! We told the manager about that, and he said, "O yeah, he's leaving tomorrow, sorry about that. But we can move you across the hall to that good view room tomorrow." Tomorrow rolls around and the new desk clerk said there's no way we get to move our room, and that we were given bad information the previous evening by their new GM. Not too big a deal but just laughingly incompeten

Stayed here while attending a wedding in the area. Great breakfasts, location and clean. Gazebo out in back was particularly nice in the morning to enjoy coffee while taking in the view of Mt. Adams. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Breakfast is bomb but they couldn’t figure out how to unlock the pool and fitness area. Like can you not just make a key? How do you be locked out of your own pool? Maybe they were just to lazy idk.

Positive: Breakfast Negative: Price was high for the stay

Stayed here twice, and never again. Rooms are passable, location is GREAT, and the front desk employees are kind. But, it's the only place I've ever been to that places a $250 security deposit on you, after placing a $140 hold on your card for one night. Real shame, because I was happy with my stays there last year.
