Best Western Plus Crossroads Inn & Suites

The location of this hotel is good — convenient with easy access to the interstate, making it a practical choice for exploring the area. Unfortunately, our stay was affected by a serious lack of housekeeping service. We booked a 7-night stay and didn’t receive housekeeping even once. On day 4, I went to the front desk to request more towels and coffee for the in-room machine and was told they were extremely short-staffed, with only two housekeepers for the entire property. I was also told that I’d been placed on the list for cleaning that day — but it still never happened. I completely understand staffing challenges, but it would have been appreciated if this had been communicated at check-in or if some alternative arrangement (like scheduled towel or trash pickup) had been offered. Overall, a clean and bright hotel. Stayed 1 night in 3rd floor suite. Room was nice and clean. Friendly breakfast staff, but low quality food. The elevator was broken, so had to walk stairs. Bummer.

My husband made 2 room reservations with this hotel before a snow storm hit so we would have a place to stay should we lose power. Apon arrival to check in (6:30ish pm) there was a pretty long line to check in. I waited every bit of an hour to get to the front desk to check in. In while doing so witnessed several issues. Keys not working and guests being sent to rooms that were already occupied and overheard the elevator was out of commission. When I made it to the front desk the lady behind the desk informed me that rooms weren't clean and she had no idea when they would be clean. Mind you I came here to check in unpack and get settled in before I left to go home to get my children and bring them back. The hotel is great. The rooms are clean, nice service and were in a great location to visit some nice places. There is a reason why I give the room a 2 star rating because when me and my family first came to our room I immediately noticed something about the AC. And let’s just say umm. The AC is wreaked. We got a nice room but a broken AC and it’s very obvious. I’m surprised it is still works normal but please fix the AC. But overall the hotel was decent. Also if you ever get room 403 just know you might find the AC broken but still functioning.
