Best Western Plus Carriage Inn

I love staying here. Except the $4.00 to wash and $4.00 to dry with a card. But reasonable place to do laundry is only a few blocks away. Nice staff. Also hot tub very clean but hours are not so great. Could OPEN sooner with a 12:00 check out. No time to shower after without rushing about.

Awful sleep quality - uncomfortable bed, mattress was way too firm (not good for side sleepers), and pillows are tiny and flimsy. We've stayed at several Best Western hotels throughout the years, and they've been pretty consistent (in terms of the basics - cleanliness, comfort, safety, free parking, and hot breakfast). The location was well lit and clean outside; however, the carpet in our room wasn't vacuumed as there were crumbs on the carpet. The staff were very nice.||No free parking and no free breakfast. This location "nickel and dimes" their customers. We didn't need one, but I saw a sign saying they charge a $5 fee if you want a microwave in your room. Who does that??? I'm guessing they want guests to eat at the Denny's next door.||I don't recommend this particular Best We

To begin with, I usually stay at Best Western or Best Western Plus hotels, so my comparison is based on my previous experiences, which have always been excellent until now. Every Best Western Plus I’ve stayed at so far has included at least one of the following perks: complimentary breakfast, an in-room microwave, and free secured parking. But here, none of that was available. On top of the relatively high room price (understandable since it’s Los Angeles), we were directed to a restaurant next door that was decent but quite expensive. Since we were used to having a microwave in our room, we asked if it was normal that there wasn’t one and whether it was possible to get one. We were told, “Yes of course, we’ll bring one to you,” with no further explanation—only to discover at the end of

Positive: We loved everything about it! The room, comfy bed, 2 sinks, fridge.The cleanliness! The location was close to the event we were attending. We loved the Denny's and the staff friendliness from cleaning personnel to the front who handled our check in/out. Negative: There wasn't anything we did not love about this hotel. Was nothing short of excellent.

We enjoyed our stay. Clean not new. The AC was great unlike so many places. It didn’t blow straight on us but kept the room cool. The staff was really nice.
