Best Western Plus Big Lake Inn

Really nice hotel given the area. Rooms can be off a little but it’s always minor things and pricing is high. But Staff has always been very friendly and helpful and breakfast is good, better food than most hotels have. Would recommend staying here if coming through the area.

As someone who attempted to stay at the Republic hotel down the street. The Best Western is Amazing in comparison it is a proper clean, modern, functional hotel with a clean safe parking lot and inviting lobby that serves breakfast and has a pool. The front desk lady, Miss Areya was very friendly, patient, and profesional, i booked online and their was a returnable fee for incidentals. She also baked cookies just before i got there, which was nice. The room was large, clean, no weird smells in hallways or stains on the walls. The bed was a little stiff but comfortable enough king size bed that was fresh and clean. The elevator was out, which put me in a bad mood. A prior review said it was out last month, but it didn't list a specific date. I'm listing August 15, so make a note when it gets repaired.||Fresh finishes. Looks new, but open about 8 years. (The desk chair works and has some spring, which is not the case in all hotels.) Beautiful lobby & breakfast room.||Tiny pillows. I hate that. For a "plus," and an expensive one at that, I expect King or Queen-sized pillows.||My room (even number) overlooked a service yard. The trucks were loud until at least 10 p.m. and started again at 6 a.m.||The card in the room says ice and vending is available in the room by the elevators on each floor. Rooms were clean! Breakfast hot and tasted great. Front desk service lady’s Norma & Raquel made the stays comfortable especially glad that restroom was clean, especially considering in an oilfield town. They also gave great recommendations and food( Sugar Creek Bar&Grill was the top fave) will definitely stay again whenever in the area! 5/5.

Louisa the kitchen hostess made the best breakfast we have ever experienced on the road. The food was amazing and she kept the dining room spotless. The house keepers were very nice and do a very good job everything was in order and exceptionally clean. Would highly recommend this business. Thank you all.
