Best Western International Speedway Hotel

Location, location, location; try and beat this for real estate. We really liked our stay and will be back in January. The rooms were extremely large considering all the other factors and one of the largest free car parks with a no hassle park where you like laid back attitude. It was great! It is easy to see due to the sheer size how someone could ‘nitpick’ and pick fault but just look how long those corridors are and size of the place. The staff on the front reception were cheerful, helpful and friendly. The breakfast (big point: free) was really good. Where else can you get free coffee 24/7? Another big, big plus to staying here. I mistakenly gave the review intended for the Baymont Hotel directly across the street. They were terrible. The Best Western was great. Friendly service, a good breakfast, clean rooms and a clean facility. Not sure why some guests there had set up their own private party outside their room in the grass between the parking lot and their room. Took away from the stay somewhat, but the people weren't blasting music or being rude to anyone. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and I would recommend it to others.

Positive: Easy check in process and location Negative: I did not like the smell of the hotel. It smelled as if the carpet was mildewed. When we walked on the floor of our room there was a few lights out on the floor. When we entered our room there was a huge dirty stain on the carpet and roaches. Disgusting

If only 0stars was an option. Run, don’t walk to NOT stay at this dump. They don’t care about safety or cleanliness. There were no lights in the hallways. Cockroaches in the room. When we brought these things to their attention the stated you booked though Expedia so no refunds. They figured they didn’t need to deal with complaints due to this. I wouldn’t let my dog stay in this facility. Location was great and I guess this is why they don’t care. They have your money so why try.

I liked this hotel. Breakfast was good. Plenty of food and it was available even after 10am. The bacon was good. I liked the balcony. |I would have liked the pool to stay open longer, but no problem. |Room was clean, lots of hot water in the shower. Nothing to complain about.
