Best Western Inn

We arrived the first night at around 0200. The front desk attendant was very friendly and got us checked in pretty quick. That’s where the good part ends. The room is very worn, the tubs (we stayed two nights in two different rooms) were both cracked and peeling, the fixtures drip even when turned off, and the heater didn’t work in the second room. Unfortunately this is the best hotel in the area so there’s not much choice anyway.

The bed was good, however I had to keep the bathroom door closed because the fan was very loud needed to be replaced along with the towels they had holes in them and were dingy. The front desk lady when I checked in was very accommodating, great customer service.

This hotel is right at the north end of a small County Airport and from 7:45 to 830 there have been at least seven airplanes fly less than 100 feet in the air above my room. I’m not used to this much noise nor am I comfortable being disclose to Air traffic overhead. I cannot imagine why this little one strip airport is so busy at this time of night.

Positive: I like that it is in Monroeville, and we had an event there so we needed a place to to sleep. Negative: One of the bed we stayed in was not right!

Im currently doing a project at Alabama River Cellulose. A paper plant near this area. The location of this hotel is perfect for me. Its only a 20 minute drive to site and im gone most of the day. They serve breakfast at 5am which is perfect but the service has been lacking. The cleaning ladies will not change out your bed sheets. They changed them out twice out of the first 3 days of my stay but after that they completely stopped. Ive gone 4-5 days without clean sheets. They will replace the towels but not the sheets. I was enjoying my stay here until I kept coming back consistently to a room with old, untucked sheets. I talked to the front desk about my problem and I was told that It would be handled. I came back today and they didnt do anything to my room at all. Feels like they got mad
