Best Western Huntsville Inn & Suites

its ok but very over priced. I had a bottle of perfume I forgot in my room. I went back and was told "yes we have it,the maintenance lady has it on her cart. the maintenance lady said no she had no idea what I was talking about" it was a Christmas get that was special to me. very disappointing!! do better best western.

Okay for the price, but: 1. Commode did not flush without manual intervention. Front office person showed us how to take off of the lid and shake something until it refilled. 2. Breakfast was edible, but weak for this type of hotel. Also, no decaf coffee. 3. After breakfast (7:45 AM) our room keys would no longer work. We had to go to the office to get back into our room. 4. Employees were nice. 5. Walking to the room for 1st time, there were lots of people outside of their rooms just talking with many smoking. They scare my wife who went & locked our doors. I think they were just people who were temporarily worked close, just hanging out. Our room did not smell of smoke. 6. The bathroom door would not "click" shut. No matter what you did it would open up 2 to 3 inches. Very li

This place is worn out but clean and tidy. Heaters and air conditioners. Don't work. No elevator. Price is cheap enough and that's good, but if you're looking for a nice stay this is not the place. If you have a work crew in the area and want a place to put them up it is fine. Owners are doing their best to keep it running.

If you plan a trip to Huntsville, Texas, DO NOT STAY at the Best Western. Also, if you check out 1 day early, it will take an ACT OF CONGRESS to receive your funds back into your account!! The phone either rings OFF THE WALL and nobody ever answers, or the phone will ring one time and immediately give a busy signal. I suppose Best Western allows staff to "take your baby/grandchild to workday" --I was greeted at the front desk by a lady with a baby on her lap. I stated: "You must have been pretty busy checking in people: I called for an hour trying to see if I could arrange my stay. The phone rang and rang off the wall, with no answer." The desk clerk replied: " Oh, that's because someone thought it was funny to take the phone off the hook." {as she rolled her eyes toward the baby.}|I check
