Best Western Fairmont Hotel & Event Center

Had a one night stay at this BW hotel(room # 240, more on that later). We've been using BW hotels during our vacations all around the country for years and were generally pleased with our stays, until this one! This is the only BW (or similar) hotel that doesn't have microwave, very bizarre. Also, as previous comments mentioned, there is no complimentary breakfast, which is staple of pretty much every BW hotel, except this one. The carpet in the room was disgusting. I am posting the pictures to show the very large stains. Also one of the bedsheets was stained(picture added). To top it off, the coffee maker was broken as well! I am so happy that we only had a one night stay and don't recommend this location to anyone, unless significant changes are made to how they operate.

I needed a place to stay for an event locally. I was unfamiliar with the area as I was coming in from the East Coast. The Best Western had a restaurant and a pool as well as a weight room, so that's why I picked that hotel. Let me first say that my room was spotless and in great shape. The beds were extremely comfortable! I ate at the restaurant several times, and although they don't always serve breakfast, that was OK because there is a Perkins restaurant outside of the hotel (they share the same parking lot!) I can't say enough about the staff. The staff at the front desk of the hotel were so helpful and pleasant. I was here for five days so I got to know them pretty well. We stay here everytime we are in town. The staff is always really helpful. And the hotel is clean with a nice restaurant right in the hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Fairmont Hotel & Event Center! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the location made it easy to explore Fairmont, MN. The on-site Green Mill Restaurant was a great bonus with delicious food and convenient dining. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in southern Minnesota!
