Bennett Spring Inn

Been coming here for years. Larry that used to run the desk was great. Wilma the housekeeper is a sweetheart. New lady that runs the front desk is a crook. Had credit card charges totalling about $100 that were never made. My wife called to ask about em. First the lady says "oh your husband must've bought a bunch of fishing stuff" I didn't. So then she said shed refund it. She never did. Always got the run around when calling back. Apparently we weren't the only ones shes done this to. This place will be shut down before long if shes still around.

Room was dated but very clean. Had everything we needed , plenty of towels linens etc. Small kitchenette in room. Staff was very friendly. The location is great. Right by Bennett Springs Park. The rates were very good. We would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed here many times thru the years and was always happy with our stay. But this time our TV didn't work. And people barged in the room with a key while we were there. And the only explanation I got was.... "They were supposed to wait till check out time at 11". Makes me wonder how many people have keys to any of the rooms. Needless to say I was upset.

Gave us keys for a room, got to it and it was occupied. Got keys for a new room and it was not clean. So we got keys for another Room. And it was. Not very clean. Toothpaste on the bathroom sink dried. Kitchen sink ,had something yucky in it. Young man at front desk, was nice.

We have stayed at the Bennett Springs Inn for many years. They practically felt like family. Apparently they have new owners who have NO interest in their clientele. We only received clean towels after asking. The trash was never picked up after 6 days. The toilets stool lid was falling off and the door to the room didn’t lock. The place is going to hell. Plus they raised their prices. Time to try the HOMESTEAD MOTEL.
