Belvidere East / Exit 170 KOA Journey

The campground easy to reach, about a half mile off I-90, with clear signage as we approached and turned in. Check-in was friendly and efficient, a staff member then escorted us to deluxe patio pull-through site 40 with full hookups. The patio amenities on the site were had seen better days. They also delivered propane to our rig shortly after we arrived, which was a nice touch. The utilities were well spaced even with our two sewer connection—the pad had plenty of room to position the coach. Cell coverage was strong with 4 bars on Verizon and 3 on T-Mobile. We used our T-Mobile Home Internet for streaming. Starlink would have worked fine as well, since the area around our site was fairly open with few trees. As a side note at check-in, they mention that their Wi-Fi could handle streaming

What a great KOA off exit 170 of 90 in South Dakota. Quiet and beautiful. Can’t hear the noise from the highway. The front desk staff were so friendly. There is a kitchen you can order from and they will deliver it to your site. We were given a spot on the end with beautiful views of the prairies. What a view! They weren’t kidding that the sunset was the best! Sites were nicely spaced. You were not on top of your neighbors. Great stopping point.

The owners are the nicest people!! They have a restaurant with a decent sized menu and good prices, arcade, laundry area, and a dog park. We arrived about 15 minutes after they closed the kitchen, but they still took our order, then delivered it to our cabin. The food was amazing!! Cabins are nice and clean, bathrooms are updated and clean. Location is about 1/2 mile off the interstate, so close enough for easy off/on access, but just far enough so you don't hear all the traffic. We will definitely stay here again!

Great campground a half mile north of I90. It was exceptionally clean, particularily the bathrooms, and quiet. There are two fenced areas for your dogs to run loose and a cute little playground for the kids. The office staff was helpful and they were well stocked on supplies. Room for rvs, tents and they have small cabins. I have a van conversion and appreciated a tent site with simple electric where I could plug in my cpap for the night. I camped everywhere I went in South Dakota and this was hands down the best! I also lucked out to be there the night of a meteor shower and had an amazing view of the sky without city lights. Quite the experience.

Very friendly and welcoming owners and staff. Clean campground with spacious sites. They offer a variety of site types for every budget. Very close to 90 West for easy on and off freeway access. Cafe has all kinds of food and beverage options that they will deliver to your camper during business hours. Highly recommend staying at this KOA.
