Belle Plain State Park Camp grounds

We spent 2 days here and enjoyed the beautifull view. My son made a friend he called around with and had fun. I was able to rest and fill good about the stay. The showers were hot but not very clean. And the handicap stall was in desperate need of repair. Idk who is in charge of the cleaning staff there but it was evident to me they dont care. Some one decided to finger the walls with poop 💩 and they did not clean it the first day and I had to tell him there was poop 💩 on the wall to go back in and clean it. Worse yet was his response. " I'm gonna have to call some one to clean it" I asked him why he had gloves cleaner and time. Please go clean it up. To his credit he went back in to clean it. But wow I should not have to do that. Seems like these days folks dont care enough to give a goo

Chilly, early March excursion was quiet and we few campers had full rein of the park. Clean, well-kept campsites.

This is a great park that is well maintained and taken care of. 27,000 acres! The camping is great here and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Family friendly. Kids have enjoyed. We have stayed in lean toes. It was clean and neat. Lake nummy is a nice place for kids to play. But shower facilities were closed. This year also closed. Last year was closed. That’s the one little disappointment.

Perfect camping place which is neat, clean and full of nature. Right on the lake plus Close to beach, trails and bug-free camping place. Loved it.
