Beavertail Hill Campground

Lovely setting and clean bathrooms. No showers. However, our experience was significantly impacted by the proximity to the adjacent railway line. Throughout the night, trains passed incredibly close to the campsites, honking every two hours. This constant honking was incredibly disruptive, making it virtually impossible to rest or sleep. We were awakened every 2 hours by the sound, and this was a major negative during our stay.

Beautiful campground. Very clean bathroons (flushable🙂). Camp Host is friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Cell phone (verizon) works perfectly. Small lake (paddleboarding, swimming, kayaking) within a short distance. Good fishing and biking nearby. 4 miles away is a great little restaurant and bakery (it also has RV dump...closest one near campground). Beautiful 1.6 mile nature trail encircles the campground.

Chill laid back atmosphere and no cell service! The hosts were polite and kind. Bathrooms were clean.

Nice campground No showers but you can Wade across the river and splash yourself. Mobile signal is weak

What an exprrience sleeping in a tee pee for the night! A little chilly but to see all the stars was worth it. Much cheaper than a motel and a better atmosphere.
