We had an excellent experience with the Breckenridge snowboard/ski school instructors. We enrolled our son in two full-day beginner group lessons back to back (8:00–3:00 each day), and both days were fantastic. He had a great time, felt comfortable, and learned a lot. After that, we signed him up for an intermediate-level group lesson, and it ended up being almost like a private lesson because there weren’t any other kids in the class that day. That one-on-one attention made a huge difference. By the very next day, he was confidently riding all of the green slopes on his own and doing totally fine. The group lessons are very reasonably priced for what you get, and from what I observed, the instructors genuinely love what they do and are amazing with kids. They’re patient, encouraging, and

First time family skiing so we booked a private lesson for 4, our 9 year old was the youngest and expected to be the toughest. I absolutely love that we were paired with Chuck Maisch, he was AMAZING, especially with my 9 years old. Had great patience and care with not only my child but our entire family. I truly feel my family and I learned to ski and want to come back because of Chuck. I highly recommend you ask for him by name :) We'll be back in Feb. and will be calling him.

My fiancé and I had Eric S. from Fargo, ND as our instructor. This was our first time skiing, so we were very nervous. The class was kept small, at three people, and was very personalized. He made sure to focus on one weak point for each of us, and to teach a variety of techniques to work on it. For me, I had trouble braking. By the end of the lessons I had a conceptual understanding of the basics, but still wasn’t ready for the bigger slopes. We tried a green slope the next day and were able to successfully descend it with very few falls, since we took our time. I then took two runs on my own on Red Rover and felt incredibly confident. The key to Eric’s teaching was the final quote he left us with. He said that at the end of the day, in addition to mastering the basics, we should exper

Wife and daughter had an instructor that was amazing! Patient and well versed in getting people comfortable with the slopes. Also, up and down the hill for two days, I ran into a lot of instructors, they were all amazing. Good with adults and kids. I was super impressed with their ability to get even the smallest kiddos on the steeper parts of the slope.

I had an amazing experience taking ski lessons in Breckenridge! My first first-timer classes with Celia were great—she managed a group of six people, all with different skill levels and confidence, with patience and expertise. After that, I had a full-day lesson with an absolute legend, Billy Cole. He is hands down the best instructor you could ask for. He not only taught us how to ski blue trails with ease and confidence but also shared fascinating stories about the history of Breckenridge along the way. If you're in Breckenridge and looking to improve your skiing, this is the guy to learn from—he’s a true legend! While ski lessons can be expensive, they are absolutely worth the investment! I highly recommend booking a full-day lesson—the price difference isn't that big, and you'll hav
