Bear Lake Campground

Been coming up here to this lake since I was a kid, an now my kids come up here ,it's gotten more gorgeous over time, very peaceful, good fishing an the sun hits perfectly on the lake .

So peace full good place to fish I go he every year at least once

It was beautiful in 2024 when I last fished there. There was a fire a month or so after that though, and I heard that it did a lot of damage. :-(

Bear Lake campground is an unimproved campground in the Oak Creek Wildlife Area/Bethel Ridge. It is closed during the winter as the area is used for elk habitat. There are no facilities, and it is a long drive on gravel roads to reach the campground, but this means it is secluded and not crowded. There are no designated campsites, and no fees. Be sure to check on fire bans as this area is relatively dry in the summer and there is a lot of fuel in the area from previous logging activity.

Love the place. Real nice area. Cought alot of fish. Four trout, five brook trout and two cut throat.(release) did all this in two hours best place yet. Also sean a black bear cross road on the way down. (Love it going back)
