Beachcomber Resort & Club

Not a very large resort area but close to all the restaurants & tourist activities. 15 minutes from Lauderdale by the Sea or Fort Lauderdale, so finding things to do is no problem. There are 2 swimming pools, they are not a big as they appear in pics. The staff are exceptional and so accommodating. Everything is quiet by 11pm but that's a good thing, and it is clean. There aren't any late night food ordering unless you door dash either. No smoking on premises. The partial view of the ocean was just perfect- we worried about it not being a good view but they have really comfortable lounge chairs and you can hear & see the ocean just fine. Although the resort itself was very nice. the front desk and managerial customer service was far less than good. I paid in advance for two rooms through Expedia, with the only exception being the resort fees and taxes on those resort fees. At check I paid for the resort fees for both rooms with my credit card which paid us up for all expenses for both rooms. The front desk person also took down my credit card as well as my friend's credit card to cover any incedentals charged to either room. After we left the resort my friend noticed that his credit card was charged for his nightly room rate, resort fee and taxes on his resort fee chard, (all of what I had already paid for though Expedia and the front desk clerk) on my credit card. We called and spoke to the Assitant Mgr, who said he'

From the welcome to all the staff. Right on the water with chairs and towels ready. Housekeeping was on point the whole week. Stayed and ate at Deep Oceanfront. The food was amazing. Great time will be looking to check in again soon. Thanks.

Beach is a beautiful hotel. This is a review specifically for the dining in the evening under the tea bar, which is a beautiful location. It is a place to go for drinks. The moon was full. The ocean was beautiful. The food was “meh” at best. The oysters were good. The chicken my Caesar salad is not edible. It was dry and tough. The salmon was mediocre. It’s too bad because the location is gorgeous. The people are nice, but the food was just not up to par..

Awesome place to stay. Everyone is super friendly. The pool was warm and clean. The bathroom in the room was beautiful. They have an awesome little restaurant right on the beach. There were some fire pits out back that you can sit around at night and talk to friends. The beach is about a 100 foot walk away. We have gone here twice. We plan on coming back soon.
