Baymont by Wyndham Montgomery AL

I recently stayed at this property and overall had a pleasant experience. The room was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay. I appreciated having both a microwave and refrigerator available, and the hot water and all appliances worked properly during my visit. The stay was also very affordable, which made it excellent value. While I did enjoy my stay, there were a few areas that could use improvement. The room did not appear as clean as I expected, and there were noticeable areas with touch-up paint and some furniture with rough or worn spots. Addressing these details would significantly enhance the overall presentation and guest experience. Despite these minor concerns, I found the accommodations comfortable, affordable, and enjoyable.

We were on a road trip to the great Smoky Mountains and stopped to treat ourselves to a night of rest. The garden looked charming and the price was right. However, things quickly took a turn. It took the desk agent 20 minutes to come out and greet us. He then tried to get me to pay for the room in cash, at more than the listed price, without filling out any paperwork. Should have hightailed it out here, but we were tired from driving. I insisted on doing an electronic payment with paperwork. We got to the room, there were big and small hairs in the bed, and glitter in the shower. The room was pretty dumpy, but again we were tired. We were then woken up nearly hourly from 10pm-5am to who we presumed was the desk agent yelling on the phone in the lobby. We didn’t go outside because we didn’t

Positive: Pet friendly! But beyond that, once we entered the lobby, we were blown away! The greenery and the ?scenic? elevator rides were very pleasant! Non carpeted room was a plus. The staff were all very friendly and professional! We?d love to stay there again! Negative: ""

I was not expecting the hotel to be as nice as it is especially for the price. Very impressed, will stay at again & will recommend to others as well. Just 1 thing, in like the living room area where the couch is it faces the closet cabinet, there's no TV in it. I thought it was an entertainment center. Lol but the only TV is in the bedroom area. Our room has a coffee maker (pouches), a mini fridge & microwave. Which was a surprise cause it only said coffee maker. Rooms are accessible from indoors & the elevator is only a 2 person capacity & slow. But it's better than walking up stairs with bad knees. Room was clean, bathroom was clean. I'm giving this place a 10/10, 5 stars. Thank you.

Hotel is good value and is not worst hotel around. Stayed one night solo for a wedding. Very unique lobby with the trees and greenery. Hotel bed was very comfy. Was able to do an early check in (drove from Michigan) which was very convenient. Hotel has had some renovations done, but still isn’t as modern as it could be. Shower drain was very slow (took a 5 minute shower which resulted in a bath), tile from the shower wall falling off. Had a towel with a hole in it.
