Overall, this hotel is a great value for the price. The rooms are a good size and look recently updated, which was nice to see. The beds were a bit too firm for my taste, but thankfully there were plenty of pillows — though they do tend to go flat pretty quickly. The shower water goes ice cold very fast. Breakfast was on the smaller side, but still tasty and satisfying enough to start the day. The water pressure in the shower was amazing — super strong — but the hot water didn’t last very long, which was a little disappointing. The pool area was nice. The water was warm, and the room itself was comfortably hot, which made swimming enjoyable. However, there was a strong musty, mold-like smell in the pool room that could use some attention. They was very helpful in getting the room in short notice. My wife and I was put out after our house burnt down and they was the only ones we could find to help us with taking our card we had and working with us

Spend the extra money & go somewhere else. We were in need of a room just to sleep so we stayed but the smell in the rooms nearly made me vomit. I asked another customer if their room was the same and they agreed. Pull up the carpet because it’s a bad smell of I assume 20 yrs of cigarette smoke. Worst hotel experience ever.

I don't understand the negative reviews,we were checked in by a lady who was absolutely wonderful to work with, even my 8 yr old daughter commented on how nice she was. The room was decent, nothing spectacular but for the price it was on par with the rest. Breakfast was OK, it's free and had options. The pool was my daughter's favorite part, her and a few other kids had a great time. I'll stay again if I'm ever in Louisville again.
