Baymont by Wyndham Glenwood

I was traveling for work and wound up coming to stay there. The owner is a great guy, though his wife was extremely rude. He was actually extremely helpful. My first night there, i needed to use the restroom in a bad way, and didn't have my room key with me. I woke him up around 1 in the morning to ask him to make me a room key, and explained about the bathroom. He took me to the pool and allowed me to use that restroom, while he made me a new card. That may not seem like a big deal, but to me, it was huge. I'm grateful that he was very kind, and hopefully he will rub off on his wife, and maybe she'll be kinder in the future.

The beds were comfortable. We were on the third floor so the room was super quiet. |They offered that we could go to the Super 8 for swimming for $8/person.|We thought the hotel was very helpful.|We also ate at Peggy's Diner twice, everything we tried was good- famous Philly, Cheeseburger, chicken strips, French toast, pancakes, bacon, and sausage patty.|Delicious, low-key diner.|Very good.

We were surprised on how nice the hotel was. The lady that checked us in was very nice.

I usually don't leave reviews but after my experience and reading other people's reviews I'm convinced they were made up lies by the employees or their family's. I get to the hotel a little before 3 and no front desk, I have to walk to the diner to check in, very inconvenient when it's cold outside. Also the door to the hotel isn't even secure, I walk in and it just looks and feels DIRTY. I get to my room and it's even worse. Bed skirt was tucked under the mattress exposing the box spring which is so dirty along with the other bedding and looked like the bed wasn't even made. Spit all over the mirrors and counter top, broken lights, hair in the tub and the tubs look dirty and stained. No body wash and left over soap on the other bottles.. Gross! Finger nails on the carpet so i immed

I liked the gym. But no meals served unless you buy at restaurant. Window leaked when it rained, have to check in at Diner. THEY LOVE TO CHARGE YOU FEES AFTER YOU PAY FOR YOUR INITAL STAY AND NOT ADVISE YOU OF IT annd then make you feel like an idiot. And room had a funky smell.
