Bay View Motel

Your basic older Motel, nothing super special but you're basic accommodations while you wait to transfer from one train to another

We stayed at the Bayview before taking the train to Chicago. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. Absolutely would stay there again. The neighborhood is what it is, urban and a little run down, but no worse than lots of other places I've been.

About a 10 minute walk to the metro station and fast food options as well as a grocery store. Owner is very friendly

Visiting from out of town. When I first checked in, I was in a rush to go out again, so only checked the bed and locks. It seemed fine. A little worn out maybe but not dirty. It wasn't until the next morning that I first checked the bathroom. Tub was absolutely crawling with ants. And while I can appreciate supporting safe sex, I think they should maybe clean out the drawers next time... Will not be back

We checked in late at the evening. The owner is very friendly and we felt very comfortable. Room was clean with air condition. Also the guest next door was very friendly. The house and yard are safe and there is space for parking. Next time we will be in this area we will come back for sure cause service and price are best.
