Bay Bridge Motel

The gentleman that checked me in was gruff and unwelcoming. The motel is very old fashioned, to the point where you get an actual door key for the room, which was rather quaint. The room itself was perfectly fine...clean, pretty small, no rack to put suitcase on, so mine sat on the floor. Closet had one coat hanger. Queen bed had two rather flat pillows. Heater worked well, shower had no pressure. No coffee in room, adjacent coffee cart doesn't open till 7am and is closed Sundays. (We're early risers, so that didn't work for us!) The entrance/exit could be better lit or marked with reflectors. We almost fell in a ditch when leaving after dark. On the whole, perfectly adequate motel, decently priced but I think we'll try somewhere else next time.

I stayed a night at this motel recently. A hold was put on my CC which is normal although there were no services to charge me for. I don’t smoke and I didn’t have a pet to be charged for. Imagine my surprise when over a week later my card is charged $30.00. I called the motel and the current manager explained that housekeeping charged me for stained towels. They said there were coffee and blood stains on the towels. I did not drink any coffee nor anything else nor did I have any injuries to account for blood stains. I was not emailed an invoice for these charges either. I have traveled the world and stayed in very nice accommodation and I have never been charged for things that might be considered normal wear and tear. I'll admit I was a bit concerned when we pulled in. But, the reservation was made, paid for, and too late to cancel.||We were very surprised at the room when we entered. It was clean, felt comfortable, and had no "bad" smell to it.||It was a warm afternoons, so I asked the manager if he had a fan I could use, and he was more than happy to hand me one. He made sure it was clean while I was standing there. A bit later, he stopped by to see if we needed another one.||The bed was a little soft for our taste, but that's not a big deal. We slept just fine. When night came, the place got very quiet, and it was full. Also, they enforce the no smoking policy.||All in all the entire place was in very good condition.

Absolutely love it here i love the old school feel the cozy vibes super nice views beautiful atmosphere and ambient setting. We always stay here while visiting the area. Definitely recommend great folks clean friendly relaxing.
