Basin Harbor Main Lodge

What a wonderful resort. Had a wonderful, socially distanced weekend away. Staff were all so helpful and friendly and catered to our vegan diet. The whole place was quiet for the 4 days we spent and people respected social distancing. Can’t wait to return. Oh, and do the boat tour! We saw six bald eagles on ours!! Amazing.

Great peaceful resort, that takes you back to a simpler time. A great scenic view of the lake, with boat access, a golf course, onsite restaurant as well as a gift shop. A walking / bike trail just steps from the out decks and patio area lined with Adirondack chairs and porch swings. If tranquility is your thing, the shirt drive from Burlington is worth the extra miles.

We just loved this place! Stayed at Homestead. Just really enjoyed ourselves and attended a beautiful wedding! Tons of activities, boating, fishing, golfing, wellness classes, pool, fresh sushi, awesome breakfast bar. The resort needs repairs and updates. I mean, it's old and historical but then there's run down. There's attention that is needed to the run down. Otherwise, loved it! Definitely coming back!

Did my parents 40th anniversary party here. Could not have gone better. Everyone was amazing!!!! Took a cocktail hour cruise on the EScape and had a wonderful meal in the garden room for a group of 30 and everything was flawless. A HUGE thank you to everyone at Basin Harbor who helped make my family's celebration so spectacular and special.

This is our third visit over a number of years. We found the food both intriguing and well prepared. The waitstaff as always a charming and unique blend of nationalities. This time we did experience some glitches with reservations and housekeeping but the ambiance of history with modern amenities on Lake Champlain made up for any problems.
