Terrific place to stay for a wedding anniversary weekend. We loved our room, the staff are warm and welcoming. Dinner at Dorset Inn both nights was delicious. We ate at the Tavern our first night after enjoying a drink by the fire. The second night we came back and ate at the tavern bar - Chris the bartender took good care of us. I had a massage with Melissa at Hygge Spa just across the street from the Dorset Inn and it was the best massage I have ever had! I highly, highly recommend going to the Hygge Spa. It’s a new beautiful setting and so close by. We enjoyed walking the marble walkways to Dorset for breakfast and dinner from our room at the Barrows House. Such a charming and beautifully maintained town. Perfect for a weekend getaway.

I don't know what was up tonight. We ate there a year ago and were really looking forward to another great experience. Tonight though, our appetizers took an hour to arrive and our main dishes came cold. The waitress was great and apologetic, but something misfired. $600 for three couples and a bad experience.

Staying at the Barrows is like living in Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. I loved every moment of my stay. I went to Dorset at the recommendation of a friend for my birthday and had my mom and dog tag along with me. My dog is extremely reactive, and I asked the staff to put me in the quietest room they could offer. They informed me that only 8 other rooms were book and there was no one else in the cottage I was assigned to (the benefits of having a birthday in the dead of winter, and before Winter Vacation!). When we got there the staff were beyond helpful, accommodating, friendly, kind, and just pleasant people. Since my dog is so intense, I am not normally able to bring him for walks at home. However, because there were so few bookings, I felt comfortable bringing my dog for jaunts on the pro

Very comfortable - I stayed at Blue Jay cottage and had a lovely room; with a wonderful bed; I struggled a little with the blinds but slept great. There was a common room with a Keurig, frig, microwave, and cozy comfortable seating. The main building had a dining room with good food and a bar; and again, lovely seating areas. I was there for a small meeting and had a wonderful time; visited some local stores and the farmers' market too!

We were a group of 5 families and Renee was super helpful in helping us find something to meet our needs. We stayed at the 1880 house and the cottage. The 1880 house was perfect, quintessential Vermont. Breakfast at the Dorset Inn was great. Access to Manchester/Stratton was easy. We would definitely stay here again.
