Bahama House

Bahama House has beautiful views and is right on the ocean. This is our go-to place when we visit Daytona Beach. The staff is professional, accommodating and friendly. Rooms and service are great. This is an older hotel but is well-kept. We enjoy the ambience and general "feel" of the place. Happy Hour is fun, and a continental breakfast is included (hard-boiled eggs, muffins, pancakes, yogurt, fruit...no meat). The only thing I would change are the pillows, but I have that issue everywhere! I usually bring my own...

Every thing was wonderful? Nice and fresh looking. The rooms and the balconies look like they were freshly painted, along with new carpet. The two queen beds were very comfortable. I enjoyed the complementary breakfast and the happy hour in the early evenings. I love the equipped kitchenette and the full-size refrigerator in our room. Our view was outstanding with the most gorgeous sunrises. Close to shopping and restaurants.

Positive: Location to restaurants. Each room has an ocean view. Negative: I wish someone would have mentioned that it is an old room, old bathroom with paint slapped over old. Elevators take forever. Daytona Beach itself is disgusting-filled with homeless walking streets.

Wow let me just say i'm impressed for sure !!! We booked this night on a whim so we could stay at disney world for a full day and not have a crazy 6 hr drive home . We figured we would stay somewhere nice but reasonable price wise . My husband found this place. Usually hes not the best at finding nice hotels so I was wary . We just got here 3 hours ago its pitch dark so we can barely see the beautiful beach but even in the night our view is STUNNING !!! I'm usually super super picky about hotels since i'm a huge germaphobe . If I sleep anywhere I always inspect the rooms to make sure they are clean and bug free. I booked for 1 day just for a quiet stay on the beach the hotel was nice and very nice and clean..I paid $112 for 1 night I use my debit card so they told me I will have to put $100 deposit down for an hold and then I will receive it back. That was February 17, 2026. It is now March 5, 2026 and I haven’t received my hundred dollars back I made sure I tidy up the room before I left so actually I paid $212 for one night
