Back Country Inn

We called the property late. They went and got a room ready for us at 9:00 at night. The room is great very very clean beds pillows very comfortable. It's nice and quiet Thank you all for a great day and your extra effort for us.

Thiis place ins the only resting place within over an hour's drive. I will start with the negative because it must be mentioned: no mirror above the sink in the bathroom, no ice machine and you have to drive 10 minutes to buy ice, locks on my door were not adequate....not the typical locks you woud find in an average motel, the tv system was DISH and they left 2 controllers next to the tv....no instructions, I missed all my saturday college football games. The curtains to the front window would not seal completely and anyone walking by could peek in....and at one time two ladies did during the day. The shower had no hand held shower head....only the one head attached to the wall; is you wanted to rinse off your behind, you had to turn anround and bend over ; there were no glasses l

My family and I encountered car trouble on our trip and we luckily came across the Back Country Inn. We were able to stay somewhere safe and keep warm while we waited for a new rental. Thank you so much!

After a rough night at a San Diego hotel with cleanliness issues and a booking mix-up, my husband, toddler and I decided to leave around 9:30 PM and drive home since most other places were fully booked. On our way home, we spotted Back Country Motel with some good reviews. We got there around 11 PM, and Thelma greeted us warmly. She understood we were exhausted from the day’s travel and showed us two room options, letting us pick the one we liked. The room matched the positive reviews: clean, modern bathroom; cozy vibe; fresh linens; a big desk for our stuff; a TV with lots of apps; plus a good-sized fridge and microwave. The bed was super comfy, just what we needed to relax. Finding such a clean, quiet, and inviting spot was a huge relief. I highly recommend Back Country Motel to fellow
